"I have lived with asthma my whole life, but it has gotten much worse over the last few years. It got to the point that I removed virtually all of the physical activity from my life, and I was using my inhaler more than 10 times daily. My health coach helped me to appreciate I didn't have to live this way, and that there were other treatments that may work better for me. I went to my doctor prepared with questions, and he changed my medicines around. I am now breathing better, and with the help of my health coach, have lost weight and lowered my blood pressure too. I feel better than I have in years!"

"I make my living as a trucker, and I just recently had my world turned upside down. I went for my yearly DOT physical, and I was grounded because my blood sugars were too high. My wife can't work, so if I can't work we go hungry. I called TrestleTree and started meeting with them. They called me on the phone almost every day for a couple of weeks. We talked about what I was eating, my medications, and exercise. They sent me information on how to eat right, and I started watching what I ate real close. They told me I really needed to talk to my doctor because the medicine that I've been on for the last few years didn't seem to be working to well. I got an appointment with my doctor, and he started me on some new medicine. I took another test after 2 weeks, and was able to get back on the road. I still meet with TrestleTree once every month or so, and they help keep on track. Thank you VERY MUCH!"

"Over the last few years I had gained enough weight that it really began to affect the way I felt about myself. I felt so heavy that I was embarrassed to leave my home on weekends. I just didn't want people to see how heavy I had become. I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, and I think my weight probably had a lot do with it. A few months ago, I started meeting with my health coach on the phone. He helped me figure out ways to start on an exercise plan and eat better. My clothes are getting loose, and I have lost over 20 pounds so far. I recently went to a conference out of town. When I am out of town, my eating schedule is all messed up, and I eat unhealthy meals. I always gain weight. My Coach suggested that I bring my own food on the trip so that I wouldn't be tempted to get off tract. I was able to make it through the trip without gaining weight! All of this has had a made a difference in my blood pressure too. The bottom number of my blood pressure stays around 80 now - Much better than before! "

"I had smoked for fifteen years and had tried quitting several times. Recently I had cut down to seven cigarettes a day, but could not get any lower than that. Through working with my coach I was able to explore what smoking was giving to me that I liked. One big thing was stress reduction. My coach helped me figure out other ways to deal with stress and to realize that the things causing my stress did not go away, because I smoked a cigarette. It took a few months to reduce more and then quit all together. I have not smoked for ninety days now. Recently I had a relative pass away and had thought about smoking again. Then I remembered that smoking would not bring the person back and I said the serenity prayer to myself instead. My coach had warned me that something stressful might happen during this process of quitting and had asked me to think about how I would handle the situation. If we had not talked about it before it happened, I probably would have just started smoking again like every time I tried to quit in the past."

In the days of the browser wars between Netscape and Microsoft, many hacks were propagated by the competing companies. However, today these hacks have done more to hurt the Web than to help the battling companies. By downloading and installing one of the programs listed above, the Web will be one step closer to eliminating these hacks and bugs.
