Today's #StoryofSuccess highlights the collaboration between a TrestleTree Health Coach and a participant to achieve key health goals. While this participant was motivated, true behavior changes took place during coaching through a relationship of trust and a partnership for progress.

This TrestleTree participant enrolled in health coaching motivated to lose weight to improve his blood pressure. Per his physician’s recommendations, he and his Health Coach focused on weight loss using good nutrition and enhanced exercise. They worked together to develop a nutrition plan to include limiting portion sizes, recognizing when he is full, and eating mindfully. He has also incorporated cardio and strength training circuit exercise 3 to 4 days a week. He was excited to see additional weight loss progress after incorporating strength training into his routine. He lost 12 pounds, exceeding his physician’s six-month goal, and he is determined to continue improving his overall health with sustainable lifestyle changes.
