This TrestleTree participant enrolled in health coaching to lose weight, become healthier, and move toward reducing his medication. He and his Health Coach explored his eating habits and physician directives to avoid foods that trigger gout and GERD. They identified areas for improvement with his nutrition, and he successfully implemented changes. Additionally, his physician advised 60 minutes of exercise 3-4 times per week and, prior to coaching, he was not meeting this goal. He and his Health Coach worked together to identify additional types of exercise and ways he could fit them into his life. He has increased his amount of exercise to include both cardiovascular and strength conditioning activities. He has lost weight and remains committed to achieving his goals!
